Steven Harwood is Founder and President of Latin Nexus. Mr. Harwood has devoted his career to pharmaceutical and diagnostic operations in the Emerging Markets. He served as Regional Head for Asia/Pacific with American Home Products, General Manager for Farmitalia Carlo Erba in India, Country Manager for Sanofi in Taiwan and also as Commercial Leader - Latin America for GE Healthcare’s Medical Diagnostics business. He attributes his success in these roles in part to his knowledge of various foreign languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian. Mandarin Chinese and Hindi. Mr. Harwood has also lectured as an Adjunct Professor on International Business in the MBA program at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Helio Anastacio is President of Equifarma, S.A. and Nexus-Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Over a career spanning more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Anastacio has held a variety of leadership roles including: Controller, Financial Director, Marketing and Sales Director, President of the Colombian and Brazilian Subsidiaries of Sanofi, S.A, and President of Farmasa S.A., a top-10 Brazilian Rx pharmaceutical company. He has been an active member of the National FEBRA Pharmaceutical Council, where he served as President in 2001. Mr. Anastacio holds a degree in Accounting from the Associação de Ensino Paulistano and a Certificate in Marketing from ESPM (School of Professional Marketing Specialization).
Dr. Raymond Tudor's career spans more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Following graduation from University College in London, England with a BS and PhD in Chemistry, Dr. Tudor joined the pharmaceutical industry where he held commercial, regulatory and medical affairs positions at both the Director or VP level with Sanofi, Schein, and Genyzme. Dr. Tudor is experienced in all aspects of new product development from the laboratory , through clinical trials to regulatory submission and marketing. He is particularly experienced in exporting and in the clinical and regulatory requirements of Asian and Emerging Market countries. Dr. Tudor is based in Brighton, England, a London suburb.
Juan Jose Reyes MD, MBA Dr. Reyes is a Board Certified Pediatrician with twenty years of clinical experience in private practice, with his extensive knowledge of the current Healthcare system; Dr. Reyes recently decided to make the transition to HealthCare Information Technology to promote innovative ways of delivering medical care. Apart from his qualifications as a physician, Dr Reyes has an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Colorado, and is currently in the process of obtaining his Certification in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) to further solidify his knowledge of Health IT and clinical systems. Dr. Reyes speaks native English and Spanish, and is proficient in Portuguese.
